“The Blind Side” is a wonderful movie that touches your heart when watching it. A great real story that forces you to dig deep inside your soul. When I watched it‚ I was taken by three impressive scenes. The first was a scene in which Sandra Bullock lies on her bed smiling after bringing Mike home with her. It’s a smile of content and of real happiness. It’s that kind of smile we draw on our faces when feeling satisfied and fulfilled with goodness. This is what real happiness is about; it’s not wealth

Michael Oher had a rough childhood as he didn’t know his father and his mother was addicted to drugs. He was in and out of foster homes and at times living on the street. The football coach at Wingate‚ a private school‚ saw football potential in Michael and got him admitted into the prestigious school

Through the interviews it can be seen how it may be a bittersweet experience for each individual with mental ill health. It had never occurred to me that any person no matter the case of mental illness may have any positive experience with it. Before I had only heard in brief what women did to earn the right to vote but this
