Abstract: The topic of this research involved the occurrence of genetic transformation in bacteria (E. Coli). More specifically‚ a previously prepared pGLO plasmid--which consisted of the gene to be cloned--was used to transform non-pathogenic bacteria. The pGLO plasmid contained a gene for the Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) from a bioluminescent jellyfish and a gene for resistance to ampicillin‚ an antibiotic. Essentially‚ we wanted to determine the conditions of the bacteria that would glow.

When I was eight years old‚ my mom took me to my first formal concert in Carnegie Hall to hear the Cincinnati Pops play because her office got her and her colleague VIP tickets for Christmas. That’s still debatable. That night was the soloist’s Carnegie Hall Debut‚ and I was completely in awe of her. I didn’t know

There are many informal fallacies that can be discussed but I have chosen to speak of Bifurcation‚ and the Red Herring Fallacy. Bifurcation is a fallacy in which you are given a situation and a choice to make. It tries to let one feel as though it is either of those options but in reality there could be many more. In a sense it is like not telling the complete truth. You don’t really lie because you didn’t actually give a false choice or statement‚ but you didn’t really give all of the information
