My composer’s name is Josquin de Prez. Josquin is a French man‚ born in the country of Hainaut‚ Belgium. His actual birth year is 1450. One other thing we do know is that he died on August 27‚ 1521 in Conde’-sur-l’Escaut‚ France. Very little is known about his early life‚ so we are unaware of where he was schooled and educated.
