After reading Chapter 17 in our history book "Give me Liberty" by Eric Foner‚ I was fascinated by the farmers Revolt which took place around the late 1800’s and dealt with the growing debt‚ poverty and financial challenges of the farmers in the West and in the South. Maybe this has something to do with the fact that my fathers family had cotton farms in Paducah‚ Texas and were so poor but rich in land. I felt compelled to learn more and understand about the Farmers Alliance aka Populist Party.

Where do you fit politically? Before starting this assignment I have always thought that I would be in a party that had nothing really to do with Republicans or Democrats. Why should I relate to something that in my opinion always either has a strong left or right brain about something that could easily be just in the middle. Since 2004 I have been able to vote for whomever I felt could be the President of the United States and since then I have tried to vote for people like Cynthia McKinney (Green

One story from the short story unit that depicts impossibilities is “Where Are You Going‚ Where Have You Been.” Connie’s vanity is not abnormal; many teenagers who are her age and attractive act the same way. The impossibility of the story appears in the form of Arnold Friend. Whether he is Satan‚ a serial killer‚ Jesus‚ Bob Dylan‚ or none of the above‚ his presence seems odd. Arnold Friend seems to know too much about Connie’s life to simply be a stalker. He know that the rest of Connie’s family

“Between Me and You” a book created by Ta-Nehisi Coates describes how tough it is being an African American man in America. The book which I read a couple of months ago showed how hard it is not to be targeted and judged in society if a person is of color. Coates mentioned how the rise of police brutality scares him on a daily basis for his African American son who is able to see these attacks on the black community through different outlets. Due to the use of social media‚ cellphones‚ video cameras

The book “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” is a great book that is very good in early child development. The book was published in November of 1985. Although the book is old there have been many other adaptions such as “If You Take a Mouse to School”‚ “If You Give a Cat a Cupcake”‚ and so much more.
