    To my surprise‚ I thoroughly enjoyed the story. I was taken back when I read that Dukhiram murdered his wife Radha over the lack of dinner when he arrived home. It was interesting to me to analyze the dynamic between the wives and their husbands as well as the brother’s relationship. I didn’t think the story was going where it was going‚ and never could expect what was to happen next. I was intrigued the whole time‚ while being appalled at the way individuals were treated or tossed to the side.
