Hi‚ I am Nathaniel Nelson and I have broken my back twice. Two years ago I fractured my lower L5 (left side) while training new skills in gymnastics. The L5 is the bone that connects the front of my hip to the back of my hip. After wearing a brace and undergoing physical therapy for six months I was back into my normal routine.
