There was also a second bomb that hit Nagasaki on August 9th that killed approximately 50‚000. But the question remained was this necessary? In my opinion YES! Dropping the bomb was very necessary‚ it was also reasonable considering the fact that US lost a total of more than 418‚000 both military and innocent civilians
