    The Odyssey While I was reading the Odyssey I noticed a couple moments that relate to real life‚ so I ask myself what elements relate to real life. First I looked at how the monsters relate to life today and I found out that Calypso a sea nymph is a person holding us back from our goals within life. She is misleading and selfish.
