Design a flow chart for a process Zoey Johnson University of Phoenix OPS/571 October 27‚ 2012 One process that seems to be a never ending process in my daily life is doing laundry. With a household of six people‚ the laundry needs to be done daily or else it will overtake the house quickly. To help illustrate the laundry process I have used Microsoft Word to create a flowchart that depicts the process. Using flowcharts is valuable because the flow of logic is shown throughout the process.

the same height. An example of flywheel applications is the replacement of substations in railway systems with flywheel systems. The number of passenger on trains are increasing‚ increase the weight load on the train‚ the spacing between trains decreases and voltage drops are becoming more common on rail systems. Substations can be upgraded to add power conditioning equipment‚ space constraints and difficulty of increasing power distribution can make it very costly to upgrade some substations. Another

fluid is flow work. Flow Work (Flow Energy) A Flow Element Flow Work with Imaginary Piston Click to View Movie (68 kB) Work is needed to push the fluid into or out of the boundaries of a control volume if mass flow is involved. This work is called the flow work (flow energy). Flow work is necessary for maintaining a continuous flow through a control volume. Consider a fluid element of volume V‚ pressure P‚ and cross-sectional area A as shown left. The flow immediately

FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND CASH FLOW 1. Liquidity measures how quickly and easily an asset can be converted to cash without significant loss in value. It’s desirable for firms to have high liquidity so that they have a large factor of safety in meeting short-term creditor demands. However‚ since liquidity also has an opportunity cost associated with it - namely that higher returns can generally be found by investing the cash into productive assets - low liquidity levels are also desirable to the

TECQUIPMENT H10 FLOW-MEASURING APPARATUS 1.0 INTRODUCTION The Flow-Measuring Apparatus is designed to accustom students to typical methods of measuring the discharge of an essentially incompressible fluid‚ whilst at the same time giving applications of the Steady-Flow Energy Equation (Bernoulli’s Equation). The discharge is determined using a venturi meter‚ an orifice plate meter and a rotameter. Head losses associated with each meter are determined and compared as well as those arising in a

The price tag of the product will become a more important objective due to increased competition and we will therefore want to reduce costs and should be emphasized as the mission objective. The shift from customer to producer designs will reduce flexibility since Shipper will aim for fewer manufactured products marketed at a wider audience. The quality objective should not change much from the current; Shipper would still want to maintain the quality
