They say that you only live once so you might as well live while you are young. People create crazy life goals of things they

ladies and gentlemen‚ my name is Spencer and I have decided that today I will speak up on the issue of racism and its effects on our society‚ this will be done through analysing a poem’s influences‚ ideas and implications. This is because poetry is a form of art and it is important to celebrate and study the abstract ideas and creative use of language that poets use to portray their stories or opinions on society. The poem “I’m not racist but” is what I have decided to analyse as it is one of the

more sympathetic to Mayotte because in the world she lives in being black is a life with no hope and dreams. But when you look at white people there’s economic privilege and a life without constant fear. Although I disagree in the way she is living her life trying to just find whiteness I do sympathize with her because she is a witness to two different worlds and is trying to find the easy way out. Mayotte is a product of the times she lives in and just wants the things that come with being white

“I’m Not Scared” by Niccolo Amminiti. The title of the novel is ironic because it means a denial of fear‚ but is contradicted by experiences of characters‚ especially Michele. Michele says “I’m not scared of anything”. When in fact he is scared of many things. Most of which are imaginary such as ogres‚ monster‚ witches and so on. When he finds Filippo in the hole and who put him there‚ Michele’s fear gain a more realistic basis. However‚ even though Michele know he has a right to be afraid‚ he is

On the cover of If I Should Die Before I Wake I put Hilary in her hospital bed reliving some of the events in Chana’s life. There are images of children being questioned by Nazi’s‚ families being taken to the ghetto or concentration camps and people behind fences. Beneath the title there is also a heart rate which represents Hilary’s cardiac monitor while she’s in the hospital. My favorite character in the book is Anya. Anya is one of Chana’s younger sisters. I like Anya because despite

Walkin”‚ is a very good song that i can connect with. This songs lyrics are honestly kind of sad but the melody of the song is such a jumpy vibe it’s hard not be happy during the song. The song is about a man whos girl just left him and now he’s all alone by himself. Obviously it’s not a super positive song if one looks into the lyrics‚ but the rhythm and melody of the song turns it into a well rocking blues. The title of the song is secondary to the lyrics in the song and i find that very interesting.
