Once More to the Lake is an essay mainly about how the author/dad‚ E. B. White‚ can’t quite seem to let go of his childhood. A lot of his childhood memories are embedded within the lake and the surrounding areas‚ so he cannot help but constantly reminisce about how things were when he used to visit the lake as a child.
