When I was fifteen‚ I read a book titled I am Malala. This book is about a young Pakistani girl who was shot by the Taliban on her way to school. The story of Malala opened my eyes to the very different in which we live. One of my favorite quotes from I am Malala is‚ “We realize the importance of our voices only when we are silenced.” To me‚ this quote shows a cry for help from middle-eastern women.
