The Outsiders is an adolescent book about a gang of young adults and teens in the 60’s. They encounter a lot problems along the way and almost all of the characters emerge as heroes at one point. Everyone’s definition of a hero is different‚ so everyone will have a different person who they think was the most heroic. My definition of a hero is someone who is selfless‚ kind‚ brave‚ someone who helps people‚ and someone who risks their lives for others. I think that Johnny best fits this description
