On Thursday‚ September‚ 28 in Ms. O’Brien’s Honors Science class we conducted two experiments the Mixed Substances Lab and the Investigating Mixtures Lab. The objective of the Investigating Mixtures Lab was “To observe that not all liquids behave the same way when mixed with other liquids”. Before we started the lab we we each created a hypothesis mine was “If the water and vegetable oil are mixed and the two combine and make a mixture‚ then the vegetable oil will float and the water will sink”.
