1.0 Summary This experiment is conducted to determine the liquid permeability of porous media. The apparatus used in the experiment is the liquid permeameter. The liquid used in this experiment is water. Three membrane samples of different thickness (0.1‚ 0.2‚ 0.3 cm) are used as the porous media. The determination of the permeability is carried out using elevated pressure test. Each sample is tested for 5 times at different values of pressure gradient which are 5‚ 10‚ 15‚ 20 and 30 psi. In order

Experiment 3: Chemical Equilibrium Purpose The purpose of this experiment was to determine the equilibrium constant for the formation of FeSCN2+. Introduction Chemical equilibrium is the point in a reversible reaction where the concentration of the reactants and that of the products remains constant. This point of equilibrium is referred to as the Kc value‚ which can be obtained using the formula: Kc = [product] [reactant] In this experiment‚ we used a spectrophometer to

3.3. Characterization of the S2 VNP loaded liquid SNEDDS 3.3.1. Assessment of self-emulsification efficiency The emulsification time for S2‚ which is the time needed for SNEDDS to form homogeneous transparent mixture upon dilution‚ was 12 sec when 1 gm of VNP SNEDDS was added to 200 ml of 0.1 N HCl. When the same experiment was performed but by using 500 ml distilled water‚ the time required for the complete disappearance of SNEDDS was 14 sec. The emulsification in both media is under grade A of

Cape Chemical Case: Cash and Profits Throughout history‚ the business community doesn’t necessarily think of a chemical‚ wholesale distributor‚ as having the ability to reach double-digit growth rates‚ all while revolutionizing the distribution process. But that is exactly what Cape Chemical has done. By offering “next day delivery‚” the company was able to differentiate itself from its competitors and gain a significantly larger market share than those same adversaries. But with the new increase

CASE STUDY 1: ZYCHOL CHEMICALS CORPORATION I. Problem(s): With all of the information gathered‚ has productivity increased at all? Should the accounting practices be further investigated? II. When I started the single-factor productivity analysis it looked as if productivity were headed in the right direction ’’ up. Because the outcomes of both the units per RMU and units per labor hours had an increase‚ 3.59% and 4.79% respectively. Even with the increase in cost per barrel from
