DISRESPECT TO A NCO The definition of disrespect is lack of respect‚ discourtesy‚ or rudeness. In the United States Military‚ there are rules and regulations you must follow‚ one of them being respect to a non-commissioned officer. No matter the circumstance‚ whether you agree or not‚ you are not allowed to talk back‚ physically fight back‚ or question judgment. If this does happen‚ there are consequences and repercussions from the actions taken on your part. Uniformed Code of Military Justice states

NCO’s are responsible for the preparation‚ training‚ and readiness of our soldiers. In the absence of commissioned officers‚ NCOs have been commissioned on the battlefield

I call it the glue that hold the ranks together. NCOs also give the soldiers direction and purpose. When I say direction I mean if there is a task or mission to do the NCO will give the mission to the soldiers and tell them what needs to get done and how to do it. NCOs also give the soldiers purpose by giving them a task or mission to do. Noncommissioned officers are also important because they can take care of soldier’s issues and problems. NCO’s are literately the backbone of the army even as it says in the NCO creed. The NCO’s do many jobs that are not totally reconized. They don’t more for the soldiers then even the soldiers think. But the impact of disrespecting NCO’s is what I’m going to cover in this. For many reasons the NCO’s keep the moral up and motivate soldiers and showing disrespect to the NCO’s not only lowers moral. It also makes it to where the NCO(s) thinks less of the person and lowers the persons creditability. There

What does ot mean to me what a marine NCO is First off i would like to state a well known quote known by all Marines‚ "Non Commissioned Officers (NCO’s) are the backbone of the United States Marine Corps." Without the NCO’s the Marine Corps could not function. This quote alone holds a great deal of history as well as gives a brief discription of what a Marine NCO truely is. NCO’s execute all orders and lead their fellow Marines. An NCO will go out of his or her way in order to aid‚ or take
