Music Appreciation This was my first time in the McCray hall theater‚ the organ is a very nice addition to the hall the gold leaf was a perfect choice. The song choice for this band seems very appropriate for the level of players in the ensemble. I also enjoyed the Christmas medley that they played with the concert being close to Christmas. The band had very good balance. They had a good foundation with the low brass and woodwinds. The upper woodwinds were not shrill sounding and blend very nicely into the foundation the lower instruments set for them. The rhythms were together and precise.
