The Cold War Chinese Perspective In the Cold War China was the weakest of the big Five. They had the weakest economy‚ second weakest military‚ no United Nations seat‚ and no ability to participate in the Olympics. Several things that happened in the simulation and in the real world kept China in this weak state.
