    I’ve been employed at Emeritus Senior Living since April of 2013. I have grown to very much adore the elderly. When I was a little kid and I went to visit family in Nursing Homes or Assisted Living homes I hated it. I hated the smell‚ the feel‚ and how everyone seemed so miserable‚ so when I got the job at Emeritus as a kitchen helper‚ I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel. I didn’t know how to socialize with them‚ but then it just became so easy. The residents became family that I never had.
