Phase Locked Loop: The phase-lock-loop (PLL) is commonly used in microprocessors to generate a clock at high frequency (Fout=2GHz for example) from an external clock at low frequency (Fref = 100MHz for example). The PLL is also used as a clock recovery circuit to generate a clock signal from a series of bits transmitted in serial without synchronization clock (Figure below). The PLL may also be found in frequency demodulation circuits‚ to transform a frequency varying waveform into a voltage.

The Phases in the Organizational Change Process Janet E Perez HCS/587 October 14‚ 2013 Margaret Walker The Phases in the Organizational Change Process Spector (2010) stated “organizational change is typically initiated in response to a trigger event or a shift in the environment that precipitates a need for altered strategies and new patterns of employee behavior” (p.18). According to Spector (2010)‚ to understand and analyze the

as Phase Diagrams By _________________ _________________ Material Science Lab #11 Report Introduction The purpose of this lab is to obtain the cooling curves for tin‚ lead and various alloys of these two metals. A phase diagram will be generated from these cooling curves. When a material is heated by adding energy at a constant rate‚ the temperature of the material will increase linearly with time‚ provided a phase transformation does not occur. As temperature of the sample becomes

Chapter (9) Single-Phase Motors Introduction As the name suggests‚ these motors are used on single-phase supply. Singlephase motors are the most familiar of all electric motors because they are extensively used in home appliances‚ shops‚ offices etc. It is true that singlephase motors are less efficient substitute for 3-phase motors but 3-phase power is normally not available except in large commercial and industrial establishments. Since electric power was originally generated and distributed

Lunar Phases When you look up into the dark‚ night sky‚ you will see the moon and the 8 different phases it goes through. They can be very beautiful or even interesting. Lunar phases happen because the sun’s light reflects off the moon to us earth observers. So depending on where the moon is on its orbital path around the earth‚ gives us our lunar phases. Due to the Moon’s revolution around the earth‚ we see that light as different shapes called phases. The strong gravitational pull of the sun

The 8 Phases of the Moon Phase 1 - New Moon - The side of the moon that is facing the Earth is not lit up by the sun. At this time the moon is not visible. Phase 2 - Waxing Crescent - A small part (less than 1/2) of the moon is lit up at this point. The part that is lit up is slowly getting bigger. Phase 3 - First Quarter - One half of the moon is lit up by the sun at this point. The part that is lit up is slowly getting bigger. Phase 4 - Waxing Gibbous - At this time half

2 From Trade to Territory The Company Establishes Power Aurangzeb was the last of the powerful Mughal rulers. He established control over a very large part of the territory that is now known as India. After his death in 1707‚ many Mughal governors ( subadars ) and big zamindars began asserting their authority and establishing regional kingdoms. As powerful regional kingdoms emerged in various parts of India‚ Delhi could no longer function as an effective centre. By the second half of the eighteenth

solvent‚ water can be used as either a base and an acid. Explain the structure and behaviour of water Similar to many other substances and liquids‚ water takes on numerous forms. It can either be solid as ice‚ gas as steam‚ and its usual liquid phase‚ water. Water molecules are electrically neutral and V-shaped with molecular formula H2O. In water‚ each hydrogen atom is bound to the oxygen atom by an electron pair‚ which is shared between them; this is known as covalent bonding. This process
