Abstract The “Chemical Kinetics” experiment was done to investigate the changes in the rate of reaction under the effect of concentration‚ temperature‚ and presence of a catalyst. It was determined that as the concentration of reactants and the temperature increases‚ the rate of the reaction increases as well. Also‚ the reaction was run by the presence of catalyst‚ and the rate of the reaction increased drastically in the presence of it. The order of the reaction with respect to each reactant

Chemical Reactions and their Classifications 26 October 2012 Abstract: Ordinary laboratory ware was used to determine how many of what type of chemical reactions occurred. This yielded three decomposition reactions‚ four substitution reactions‚ and three metathesis reactions. Introduction There are many different types of chemical reactions in the study of chemistry; A composition reaction (also known as synthesis) is defined as the reaction that occurs when two single compounds combine in

pigment was observed to dissolve while also turning the solution into a pale clear colour. The same amount was used for the HCl reagent. As soon as the acid touched the pigment it yielded in a clear solution (solid dissolved after a few shakes). When the KI was added‚ the solution turned a pale yellow with white solid precipitate clumping together at the bottom of the test tube. See Table 2 for observations. The unknown had heat administered to it as well‚ in order to solidify the identity of the unknown;

Experience during Internship “Try to look at everything from the frame of 6 inches to be a good script writer” said my mentor Mr. Chaitanya Shah‚ when I started my internship in ‘script writing’. ‘A writer is born but a script writer is made’. Writing skills may come to you naturally but to write for a film or television is something very different‚ It needs entirely different vision.

base. E Blue dye and NaOCI When Blue dye and Sodium Hypochlorite react are combined the result is green. This means it is a base. F NaOCI and KI When Sodium Hypochlorite and Potassium Iodide are mixed the two combined produced a reddish color. This means the combination made an acidic mixture. When starch is added the mixture turns black. G KI and Pb(NO 3 ) 2 When Potassium Iodide and Lead Nitrate are mixed they produce a yellowish color byproduct that is much thicker than the rest of
