    Persepolis Film and Book Comparison Persepolis the movie doesn’t really deviate from the book all too much. Except for a couple of scenes in color‚ which were set outside the time frame of the book‚ the film basically followed the book. Some scenes‚ for the purpose of time were likely skipped and not included in the film.
