In my opinion Anke’s narration has a good description that gives me‚ the reader‚ a view of what’s happening in the story but most importantly she is a believable narrator. She describes in detail her emotionally conflicted life. Anke does witness her father constantly beating her brother and sister‚ but it’s only her that Larus her father does not abuse.
