Out Of Band Signaling There shall be three Out Of Band (OOB) signals used/detected by the Phy: COMRESET‚ COMINIT‚ and COMWAKE. COMINIT‚ COMRESET and COMWAKE OOB signaling shall be achieved by transmission of either a burst of four Gen1 ALIGNP primitives or a burst composed of four Gen1 Dwords with each Dword composed of four D24.3 characters‚ each burst having a duration of 160 UIOOB. Each burst is followed by idle periods (at common-mode levels)‚ having durations as depicted in Figure

Capacitors and electrostatics PHY 114 Abstract: The purpose of this experiment was to measure the electrostatic force between two objects as a function of their signs and electrical charges. This was done using many equipment’s such as a glass and rubber rod. In addition‚ investigate how capacitors store energy electrostatically in an electric field‚ share charges and discharge. This was done by using equipment’s like voltage follower‚ DVM‚ powered breadboard unit and a selection of capacitors

Magnetic Fields PHY 114 Lab Report 10/23/2013 Abstract: The purpose of this experiment was to surrounding a magnet there is a magnetic field. The magnetic field is analogous to the electric field that exists in the space around electric charges. Like the electric field‚ the magnetic field has both a magnitude and a direction. The direction of the magnetic field at any point in space is the direction indicated by the north pole of a small compass needle placed at that point. Since electric

Fitness Analysis Luckily‚ the time I had between ninth grade and tenth grade phy-ed was summer break. Because I was busy most of the summer‚ I stayed active enough to not regress much in each fitness test. The improvement that occurred for my fitness tests happened because of my choices‚ and the scores helped me form goals for when phy-ed is done. I improved my fitness test scores by making certain choices. One test that I improved on was the push-up test. On the ninth grade baseline test
