I love being creative in many ways‚ but I would say my creative side comes out most often in my music. I play several instruments including the cello and bass; I started playing the cello in junior high‚ and now there is no going back. I am constantly learning and love the beautiful sounds I can evoke from the cello. I take lessons and play both cello and bass for my church as well as for myself. I have even gotten paid to pay on soundtracks for musicians and at weddings. I am working on the piano

from Reading; I believe a marriage based on a love marriage. I think in the same way as View 2 about arranged marriages and love marriages because I feel people should trust in themselves‚ make independent decision‚ and be responsible for their own choices. Just as in the United States people live based on independent by their own life‚ trust in themselves‚ and responsibility of what they done and had decide. First reason I think in the same way as view 2 about arranged marriages and love marriages

place I felt most comfortable. My dad is a big reason why I love the water and being so active. He signed me up on the Kona Dolphins swim team when I was ten years old. I immediately fell in love. I loved being able to push myself to swim faster and continuing to beat my fastest times. My coach saw potential in me and continued to push me to become a faster swimmer. But‚ as I got older and entered middle school‚ I grew apart from the sport and desired to do other things. About five years later I met

In the essay “The Radical Idea of Marrying for Love”‚ Stephanie Coontz discusses the change marriage has made among the different cultures around the world and how it went from being an act that was necessary to something that was done for personal joy and fulfillment. For most cultures marriage was an act that was done as a necessity. Couples married because they needed to reproduce and ensure that their family continued to have money and power. and a wonderful writer. Although I did not enjoy reading The Book Thief I felt it was written beautifully. Death narrating the story was brilliant and really unique. This was a book that I felt the author chose every word very carefully. My favorite part of the book was the bold text‚ it was almost like puzzle pieces to help you get a better idea of the story. One reason the book was not very appealing to me was because the author created these characters you could really connect with and the

“How Do I Love Thee?” is a sonnet written by Elizabeth Browning. The speaker begins by posing a question that the entire sonnet will go on to answer: "How do I love thee?" Both this poem and Romeo and Juliet present the theme of love. There are similarities in both views of love including love as everything in life. But there are differences in these two types of love like their maturity and desires in the love relationship. In “How Do I Love Thee?” love is presented as everything in the speaker’s

I love roller coasters‚ that is fact. But I have not always been this way‚ but this story changed my opinion‚ and also taught me a great lesson. Me and my friends were about to ride the tallest coaster in the world‚ but it didn’t seem so scary after I rode it. The massive hunk of steel looked at us right in the eye‚ I remember sweat trickling down my face on that 95 degree summer day‚ at Six Flags Great Adventure. My friends and I had gone on a few rides already‚ such as Batman‚ Nitro‚ and the

“it’s just a game”‚ “why do you even care?” I wouldn’t respond because they would never understand. Have you ever had someone just not understand something‚ no matter how many times it’s explained? Yeah‚ well then I guess you see what I’m dealing with here. Ever since I was a child I have been interested in video games. I don’t know why or how I started to like it. I suspect it was probably because of my friends‚ they always played them. However‚ once I found them‚ I never let go. Gaming for me

Q1 - In If I Stay by Gayle Forman‚ the novel reveals an important theme of love and friendship. This theme reflects the text incredibly well in my opinion. In a traumatic car accident in the novel on a snow day where Mia‚ her parents and younger brother Teddy decide to take the day off to visit friends. They pile into the car‚ joking and arguing about which music to listen to‚ like any other family going on a drive. The next thing Mia knows‚ she is overlooking the wreckage of their car. At first
