With this money we are supposed to be able to retire and have a monthly income as we have paid into the fund and are now able to receive the money back. The same goes for Medicare and Medicaid‚ unemployment insurance and workers compensation. Each time we receive a check a small amount of money has been taken to apply to those programs.
