The assessment that I took was the Self-Directed Search (SDS). It was very interesting to see the setup of the assessment. I think it is critical for the counselors who administer the test to have completed it beforehand‚ so that they are aware of the structure. I enjoyed that the assessment‚ initially‚ asked me to provide my dream career choices. It made me have a sense of control over the process. The assessment then proceeded to narrow down my options by asking me what I liked and did not like
