Adults just have to make sure its for the right reasons‚ and it does not turn abusive. There should also be limits. A few spanks is fine‚ like a smack in the hand or bum. There should also be a perfectly good reason behind that spanking. Yes‚ there are other ways to handle the situation than spanking‚ but I feel like they are not as effective.
