    I liked Ernest Hemmingway’s fictional short story‚ “A Clean Well-Lighted Place” on page 168 a lot partly because there’s a lot of dialogue between the three characters in a café located in Spain. I viewed the three main characters in the story as an implied progression from youth through middle age to old age. The story didn’t seem to have any elements of satire or comedy in it‚ it pretty much focused on dialogue. I love how Hemmingway plays with symbolism between the three characters‚ and sets
