After I finished Jeannette Walls The Glass Castle during first marking period‚ I knew I wanted to read something more upbeat and filled with drama. I searched through my books at home and I found Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. The genre is Mystery and Drama which I love. I knew my mom read the book and loved it and is obsessed with the TV show. I love reading books before watching the TV show (or seeing the movie) so I knew Big Little Lies was a must read for me.
