    Looking back at high school I learned that everything that was supposed to prepare me for college was a waste. The perception that high school teachers give students is false. For instance‚ the perception of college is that as a student you are on your own and responsible for your own actions. To add‚ whatever college advice that was given by a teacher or counselor in high school is not realistic in the college. High School teachers should prepare students for college in a more realistic way.
