In this certain study they found that the moon had many magma rocks on the moon. This fact surprised many scientists because space is very cold (as we all know) and magma rocks are formed from extreme heat or pressure. The magma rocks were only found in certain parts of the moon and not in others. So we know that the whole moon was obviously not all formed by magma rocks.
