The ride that I have designed is not only a ride‚ but a mode of transportation throughout the park. The rides maximum speed is 110 mph‚ we can also hold 2 cars of 16 people each. The ride is about 30 seconds in between both stops. The ride starts out with a hydraulic launch into a circular turn. Right after the turn the ride does a dive bomb over a cliff for 75 feet‚ which is the point of highest potential energy. It then takes the rider under a waterfall into a pitch black cave where they do

Each of these roller coasters were a different experience for me‚ but I have always wondered “what would be the perfect roller coaster?” Would it be one that does all those different turns‚ one that goes faster than any ride is allowed to go‚ or a ride that keeps you on your feet the whole time? A ride with a bunch

getting ready to ride the Titan‚ an adrenaline pumping roller coaster ride at Six Flags. Roller Coasters The main energy transfers that happens as a “car” travels along the track from the start of the ride to the end. 1. The main energy transfers are between gravitational potential energy (GPE) and kinetic energy (KE)‚ and the eventual decrease of mechanical energy as it transforms into thermal energy. Roller coasters often start as a chain and motor exercises a force on the car to lift it up to the top of a very tall hill. At this height‚ GPE is at its highest‚ as we can see
