The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is a novel strongly based on the theme of “coming of age” and is prevalent through all of the main characters. Primarily‚ in the three “helpers” paired with Dorothy‚ their coming of age is more based on them finding their true selves‚ and the life skills that they three all obtain.
