A buddy is mainly used when a new member of staff joins an organisation. They are required to explain all organisational processes and procedures. This can include fire procedures‚ bomb procedures or health and safety procedures. They also need to ensure that they are giving advice on where members of staff are able to go to get additional help and advice.
