During this event‚ Officer Dorcey and several guest speakers spoke about domestic violence and sexual consent. In this paper‚ I will argue that without consent or while under the influence of alcoholic substance it is not okay to pursue sexual activity. I will argue this by giving exemplification from the occasion I have previously mentioned attending and my experiential perspective on this subject

Nagel is probably most widely known within the field of philosophy of mind as an advocate of the idea that consciousness and subjective experience cannot be reduced to brain activity. In this essay‚ I will critically evaluate Thomas Nagel’s What is it Like to be a Bat? His paper isn’t really about the sensory world of bats; it’s more of a critique of reductionist theories of the mind. Nagel argues that consciousness has a subjective aspect‚ and that understanding other mental states is difficult

between good and bad‚ and ultimately the characters demise. On the other hand‚ Stanley Kubrick goes into less depth with his Jack Torrence‚ and instead focuses on the chilling aura of The Overlook Hotel. The difference of the character between these two mediums is pronounced‚ it is almost hard to tell they are the same person. From the beginning of the novel‚ Jack Torrence appears to be a likeable figure who struggles internally with his desire to be a “good” person. It is later seen in the story that
