The United States needs to maintain diplomatic relations with each other to keep the world as safe as possible. Both the United States and Russia are very powerful countries‚ and if they are any more hostile than they already are‚ there could be another world war. Another reason to keep diplomatic relations is to not just protect our country‚ but others as well seeing that both Russia and the United States have nuclear weapons.
