The story of The Great Gatsby is one filled with love and tragedy. While the movie has many similarities to the book‚ there are some very noticeable differences between the two. Although the film and book are similar‚ the movie ended up focusing too much on the glitz and glam of it all with out of place music and important scene changes‚ and seemed to lose some of the key parts and aspects of the book. It is pretty clear that the music wasn’t appropriate for the time period. It was the jazz age
