Executive Summary

Abstract
Riordan Manufacturing is a global plastics manufacturer with 550 employees. The corporate headquarters are based in San Jose, CA, and its plants are located in Georgia, Michigan, and China. The company is owned by Riordan Industries. Its projected earnings are $46 million, and it holds revenues in excess of $1 billion. It manufactures plastics such as plastic beverage containers, custom plastic parts, and plastic fan parts.
Our team is tasked with identifying Riordan existing business systems and recommending a business case and process for improvement. We will provide a description of how the proposed business system changes will enhance the existing processes. Process flow charts with detailed supporting descriptions will articulate the specific processes or business development needs of the business requirements.

The homepage needs a separate link for visitors to easy access careers. Also the product catalog should be on the homepage.

Executive Summary
Riordan Manufacturing expanded operations to include a new China plant in 2000. This expansion caused a shift in some of the manufacturing operations between plants and required retooling at the Michigan plant. Each of these facilities has its own Financial and Accounting Systems. That input is consolidated at the corporate office in San Jose.
