Not all learning will take place such as NVQ’s, training sessions or in-house training a very large amount of training is what we call ‘hands on’ training while you are working. Every day that you are on shift you will be from important to a simple task such as making a sandwich or making a cup of tea. This type of skills learning will be from your supervisor and colleague’s knowledge/skills which will be handed down.
It is also very important to talk to work colleague’s when things have gone well but it is also very important to discuss issues when things gone wrong. Discussing issues that may have gone wrong will enable staff to become more proactive in rectifying such issues with minimizing such events happening again.
