2204 AFE Group Assignment 2015
INSTRUCTIONS
Due date: Mid semester break – Friday, 10/04/2015, 5 pm
Weight: 15%, split into two components as follows:
1) Content (ratio table plus report)—10 marks
2) Group work –5 marks
If you are not able to form a group of the required size (3-5–see below) and decide to do the assignment by yourself, the maximum achievable mark will be 10 only.
If the group size is fewer than 3, the maximum achievable mark will be 12.5 only, with a maximum of 2.5 for “group work”.
Group size: 3 to 5 per group (group members not necessarily from the same tute)
Deadline for forming groups: Friday 13/03/2015. (Lectures begin on 4 March, Tutes begin in week 2 (11/3): this should give you ample time to form groups; please try your best to attend both)
On Wednesday 4 March (first lecture), time has been allocated to discuss and provide further instructions on the assignment
SPARKPlus
Your concerns, if any, re contributions of group members, will be taken care of by “SPARKPlus”, which will allow each group member to confidentially evaluate the contributions of other members
Your “group component” marks will be released only when the evaluation process has been completed; thus, if you do not participate in SPARKPlus”, the maximum mark you can achieve is 10 (out of 15).
