6 Rational Team Concert (RTC)
RTC is a team concert tool which is built on adoptable, scalable and extensible platform. RTC uses the change configuration management application to provide the features which integrate development project planning, change management, process definition, defect tracking, build, source control, Tasks, reporting and automation.
6.1 Collaboration and Integration across the development lifecycle
RTC makes it easy for the exchange of information in the context of work. If any requirement feature changes, user and other team members are notifies of it automatically. User can reference changes in chat sessions and link them to artifacts. Even business stakeholder will be kept in loop if required.

6.3 Change management
The important feature of change management is work items. These are used to coordinate, track tasks which includes stories, plan items, defects and normal tasks. Work flow process and work items can be customized to suit as per the project. There is also flexibility to integrate with other change management systems like Rational Clear Quest.
6.4 Work Item
Work item reflect real time status. There are many types of work items which are provided by IBM such as Task, Defect and Story etc. User can define their own work item and customize its state flow as per project needs. Each work item in general will have these following tabs, even this can be customized as per needs.
