Period 6 I’ve always believed that some things are so complex that only God can see reasoning and benefit from them. A more than perfect example of this would be the heart wrenching life story of my beautiful friend Talia. As long as I’ve known Talia, she has had to go through more than most people in their entire lifetime; though everything, Talia stays strong and has hardly fallen weak. At the age of seven, Talia was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, an extremely rare and dangerous cancer. Talia is now twelve years young and still vigorously fighting her cancer. Given Talia’s story, I feel that anyone would feel inspired and full of faith and hope in anything in life. Strength to me is something worked for and includes the courage to manifest energy and to resist struggles and weaknesses. I remember one time when Talia was in remission and news came that the cancer came back; all of her family and friends were torn emotionally. Even though she was quite down, Talia started telling her mom that it was going to be alright and that they were all going to get though it together. She was about eight or nine years young at this time and stood tall with enough faith for everyone and to gave hope to family and friends. As odd as it may sound, I believe that Talia was specifically chosen to go though these troubles because God knew that she was born so strong. Personally, after seeing Talia go through these challenges everyday and being there for her as much as I could, I don’t think that I could stay as strong, mentally and physically. I think I’d be too drained
