Introduction:

Veronica Cannon might have been just two years old, but she already had the struggle of a lifetime ahead of her. She had been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Main:

Gabby Cannon was 29 years old. She was a positive person, but she had gone through a number of setbacks in life. After growing up in a small town, she married her high school sweetheart, Tom. Unlike other people, they never had big dreams. They just wanted to have a big family and run a small farm together. Both of them loved children, so they wanted to start having kids right away.

Despite their high hopes, they had trouble conceiving. During the first three years of their marriage, Gabby miscarried several times. Finally, she gave birth three years later to a beautiful girl. At first, the couple was overjoyed. They could not believe their good fortune.

Once year later, disaster struck. Tom was tragically killed in a car crash with a drunk driver. Gabby did her best to remain strong for her little girl. A few months later, her strength was tested again. Her daughter was diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia. Gabby was completely shattered. How could God hurt her so terribly twice in the same year? Somehow, she would have to find the strength to keep going for Veronica's sake.

One day, Gabby took her daughter to wave out the window like usual. To her surprise, she saw “get Well Soon” spray painted on the construction site.

After realizing how sick Veronica was, the ironworkers wanted to do something to make Veronica and other sick children smile. The spray-painted message was their attempt to make her smile. When Veronica came to the window, the ironworkers waved frantically to bring her attention to the beam. As Gabby's eyes teared up, she read the message to Veronica. Taking out her phone, she took a photo of the message.

Gabby decided to share the heartwarming photo on Facebook. She was completely amazed by the ironworkers' kindness. Within 20 minutes, her phone began to vibrate with messages from people who saw the message. As she pulled out her phone to check the messages, she noticed an advertisement for an online casino. It offered 80 free spins for a small deposit. To make her day go faster, Gabby decided to try her luck. In just 38 spins, she hit the progressive

Before I could even comprehend, my aunt was convulsing, with eyes rolled back and foam forming at the mouth. Hurriedly, my mom pulled her out of her wheelchair and rolled her on her left side. When the paramedics arrived, it felt like the universe was in slow motion. Voices seemed a million miles away, like soft echoes ricocheting off ragged cave walls. I was infinitely in shock; I could not process my surroundings. Mom rode in the ambulance, while I rode in Grandma Vita’s car. This moment would be the last time I saw Aunt Dori until tomorrow. The hospital was abnormally clean. Some rooms emitted no sound, however, others squealed well into the night. I never in truth noticed patients. Windows and cemented columns at every turn. The air conditioner was blasting from all angles. The doctors came by and solemnly murmured they desired to speak with my mother in private. Their eyes said to leave. Furious, I stomped off to the visitor waiting area. I may have appeared enraged on the outside, but it was all a charade. On the inside I was panic-stricken and somber. What was wrong with Aunt Dori? Why could I not attain answers? Mom returned with a pained expression on her face as the doctors calmly strode away. I recall her breaking the news to me sighing, “Do not worry, sweetheart. Everything is going to be fine.” She relayed the information from the doctors frankly, holding nothing back.…
