A Girl Like Her Analysis
The documentary “A Girl Like Her” is about Jessica Burns and Avery Keller who is a sophomore in South Brookdale High School. Avery Keller is a really popular girl that has her little group of friends and thinks that she is the best. Everybody knows Avery but on the other hand, nobody really knows Jessica. Jessica and Avery were very good friends but Jessica wanted fame and that did not involve Avery. Then Jessica and Avery separated and are not friends now but Jessica is bullying Avery. Brian Slater and Jessica are really good friends like best friends. Brian has helped Jessica with the bullying that’s been happening for the past year in a half. The principal and her friends asked her if she was bullying Jessica and of course, Avery said that she didn’t bully Avery. They didn’t want to believe Avery but they did because they didn’t have any proof that she bullied her but only had what people were saying. Nobody knew about the camera except Jessica and Brian.

Brian finally told someone that he was recording and they told Avery “what if we say that we have footage of you bullying Jessica.” Avery didn’t believe it but she wanted to watch the footage and to see if it was true. Avery saw the footage and started crying. Avery was feeling sad that she did all those mean things to Jessica. Avery didn’t believe it but when she saw the footage she was sad. Avery was feeling so sorry that she just wanted to say sorry to Jessica but she couldn’t say sorry to Jessica.

Jessica was still in the coma but something bad happens. She woke up and started dying. Then they tried to bring her back with the defibrillator and it didn’t work. When Avery was feeling sorry and wanted to say sorry out of nowhere Jessica came back to life. Avery was being so mean to Jessica but then felt sorry after she saw the

    Most of the time the neighbor would come to Berry’s house to watch the child. On November 6, 1998 Jamie needed to go to a meeting. Jamie had not talked to Berry that day because he was very busy.
