He could not handle the sea nor the way in which he was forced to be one with the ship. His hands and feet scaled from the salty water eroding his spirit and will to survive. He remembered they told of this mystical place where there are fresh running stream, pastures for all of England’s cattle, enough room for all of Europe’s unwanted and they were right. With the arrival at the shore many looked excited yet Kelly looked worried. Planted on all fours, kissing the sand he looked up and saw something, his jaw literally ten foot underground. Many continued to celebrate yet Kelly stood up, he did not know what he was looking at. Mesmerised by the event that just occurred yet wondering what was in front of him. He did not know what he was looking at, he questioned whether he has still alive, standing there in absolute confusion, yet so was the other creature he was looking at. It was a moment in which he forgot about everything he had ever known and wondered if these creatures trying to speak or yell or something was of human blood. The sounds silent and the wind flat, he stood frozen as did the other creature. It looked like it was holding its offspring. He wondered if they were animal or alien. As the other were celebrating the realised that Kelly was in complete shock and as they silenced they heard the sounds. Sticks were thrown and pistols were drawn yet Kelly still standing frozen did neither. He realised that he could never escape the struggle of life whether it be trying to feed is family, starving on a ship or in conflict with this unknown
