A Summary Of Calliope's Mistake
A week and a half passed. Nova was imprisoned, the nymphs were trapped, and it was time for Calliope’s burial. People gathered at the main house in the kingdom of Azadi. People from every kingdom came. Some creatures came to support the people who had saved their empire. Others came because they personally knew Calliope. Sympathy cards and flowers filled the rooms of the house. Quinn, Echo, and Rayne walked out the double doors of the house. The front lawn had pots of flowers spread throughout it. At the gated entrance at the end of the long path, waited a large black and white carriage that was attached to two beautiful white Pegasusi. The three of them walked down the path and got in the carriage. “I can’t believe this is happening,” Rayne said, sadly, as he got into the carriage. …show more content…
It’s so hard to know that we will have to find a new leader,” Quinn said. After a couple of minutes, they came upon a small plot of land with grave stones and mausoleums. A medium sized mausoleum in the middle of the graveyard was surrounded by a group of different creatures. They walked towards it, a beautiful round building made of white and different kinds of blue marble walls. The building had a beautiful glass roof, and it had three pillars around the sides. Looking at it closer, they saw that each pillar had words engraved on it. The first one said “Loyal Friend”. The second one said “Righteous Ruler”. The third one said “Loving Sister”. On the top middle of the building was “Calliope” engraved in the marble. “She would’ve loved it. She’s probably be disappointed that everyone is so sad, though,” Rayne said. “Yeah,” Quinn said, with the slightest bit of laughter in her voice. “Excuse me?” a weak voice said from behind them. They all turned around to see a man in his early twenties with blond hair and brown eyes surrounded by red-stained circles. He wore a faded red shirt with dark

After sometime from war, the place became a graveyard; the amount of corpse on the ground was uncountable. Smoke and bullets flying in the air created somewhat of a barrier that hindered our sight. The intense feeling of sadness and death captured the area like a big net. The mad sky started crying making the place damp and a worse battlefield. A while passed before the air and smoke got…

In this essay, I will be comparing John Hughes’ The Breakfast Club published in 1985 with Stephen Chbosky’s The Perks of Being a Wallflower of 1999. The Breakfast club aims to highlight what went on in high schools as well as the larger society at the time, by using five unique stereotypes. In the movie, there was the jock: trying to live up to his dad’s and friends’ expectations; the brain, expected to be super-smart; the princess, who always wants to be a part of the popular crowd at school. There was also the criminal who is always negative, pessimistic and causing trouble. Finally, there’s the basket case who was silent the whole time except for the odd break outs.…

The most impressive part of the design is in its dome, where the complex corners and curves of the plan are pulled upwards like a tent. Standing at the center of the church and looking upwards, it’s beautiful shape is revealed, and the pronounced entablature makes the visitor want to flow around the space, following its shape. The dome is filled with natural light, which elevates the space into a spiritual…

You stumble across a cemetery and impulsively decide to take look around. Once you step inside, you immediately notice hundreds of tombstones scattered around. You take a long breath and move tentatively around knowing you have walked into the valley of death surrounded by silent souls. You look around and see the hollow eyes of death, smell the coldness of death, and hear the silent whispers of death. Tombstone after tombstone you wonder if that woman had a sister, what that young boy died from, what the old man did for a living, or why that young girl deserved to die. Tombstone after tombstone you suffocate in sorrow. Tombstone after tombstone you decide to maneuver your way out of the cemetery, but the smell of death sticks to your skin…

After half an hour, we arrived at the graveyard. The graveyard was deserted and had hundreds of graves spaced out all over the field. The faint wind moaned through the trees and the grass danced. There was a high-pitched howl every so often. I feared that it might have been the dead spirits that came to complain about being disturbed. But I knew that ghosts weren’t real until…
