It was half past three in the afternoon when Mrs. Ava Kelly was strolling down the sunny village path, lined with shops back to her home. When she walked past a seemingly run-down building with the molding, cracked door wide open, Ava grew curious, so she looked into the cracked window pane of the old wooden shack. She only saw a dark hallway with some old chairs against the walls, so she went in to look around.
All of a sudden, she heard a loud “What are you doing in my shack,” that seemed to shake the entire building. Ava was paralyzed in fear, so she said nothing and just stared, as an old woman with multiple scars on her face appeared from the darkness of the back of the old wooden shell of a building. He could not afford this, as he and his wife were very poor. He returned home, and decided, with his wife, that he should look for the plant in the forest. So he gave his farewells to his wife, and left the house. He ran desperately through the town where the church bell rang for 5 o’clock, through farmland, and then into the Donadea Forest. It had reached dusk as Jack frantically searched the forest for the large leaved plant along an old trail. He was surrounded by tall oaks with vines hanging down from their long stiff branches, blowing in the wind.
His only focus was to find this plant for the healing of his wife, so he was shocked when he heard a voice behind him that disrupted his searching, “Sir?”
Jack quickly turned around to find that a short, brown haired man was standing right behind him, awaiting his response. Jack was still very caught off guard, so he managed to sputter out a faint “Yes?” He then realized who he was talking to. “Are you a… leprechaun?”

Angrily, Jack decided he needed to find the plant himself, so he sprinted in the direction in which they came down the trail. After awhile, he came to a fork in the road and his instincts told him to choose the left trail, and he felt that he was wrong until he finally came to an open field of Glasach plants, as the bright red sun rose. He stopped to take in the beautiful view, and then he grabbed several of the Glasach Plants and put them into his bag and he took off down the trail.
He ran for what seemed like hours and the sun showed him that he was approaching noon. That meant he only had 3 and a half hours left to cure his wife. He ran through the farmland, and as he ran through the town streets, the church bell chimed 2 o’clock. He ran even faster. Jack ran all the way back to his home by 2:30, where his wife had been waiting for him. She had already began getting red spots all over her body, a sign of disease. He then promptly took the plants out of his bag, squeezed out as much of the juice he could into a glass, and then gave it for the wife to drink. All of a sudden, her skin cleared up and she was
