Abortion
How would you feel if someone had the final say in whether or not you could live or die? Imagine not having any say in whether or not you are allowed to have a life. Now you can imagine how a baby feels since they do not have a choice in their mother’s womb. If a woman decides to abort her baby, the baby cannot do anything about their life being forcibly taken away from them. Their whole future is demolished in a single instant before it even begins. This is why I believe abortion is wrong no matter the reasoning behind why you’re doing it.
The first reason as to why abortion is wrong is because there are many other safer solutions. It is stated that “In the USA, there are approximately two million infertile couples waiting to adopt, many times regardless of the child’s medical problems such as Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida, HIV infection or terminally ill. Dr. Brad Imler, President of America’s Pregnancy Helpline, confirms the challenge of waiting couples by stating: Only 1% of the Helpline’s annual 40,000 clients inquires about adoption” (Brown). Therefore putting him/her up for adoption will give the baby a better chance at a happier life rather than if he/she had been aborted. The solution for a baby should not be death, there are other ways to (for lack of a better term) get rid of the unborn child.
The next reason why I am against supporting abortion is because it can also harm the mother. When a mother goes in for an abortion she is entering a high risk circumstance. Not only does it have an effect here in the United States, but it affects other countries as well like Spain. According a member of the Right to Life Committee: "Sixty five percent of women who abort suffer symptoms of post-traumatic stress syndrome after undergoing the procedure” ( (Gómez-Lavín). Many women around the world end up regretting the choice after deciding to take it, therefore making it a controversial issue. Abortion can also result into not being able to get pregnant in the

There are a mass amount of controversies when the word “abortion” is brought into awareness. This dispute has brought about both positive and negative affects on society. Abortion plays a major role in the everyday life of a human. People base their political parties, and even the jobs they choose to work at, all depending whether the host is pro-life or pro-choice. I personally am pro-life. I have made the decision of being pro-life based on multiple observations. Some of these observations include you are murdering your own child, you need to face the consequences of your actions, and to give people who are not able to have their own offspring a chance to be a mother/parent.…

That is just the point, no women nor anybody else should have the power to choose for the living human being whether or not it is going to live. There is a big difference between giving women their rights and allowing them to murder innocent human beings living inside of their bodies. It all comes down to one thing and that one thing is murder. Once again people who are for pro-choice might argue abortion is not considered to be murder, but yet the exact definition of murder is “The unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another.” Allow me to break that definition down even more, the definition of premeditate is to think out or plan an action beforehand, which resembles the process of abortion quite well. Overall the definition of murder is killing one without their consent in an action that is planned beforehand. One might argue these points but with research one can easily prove those invalid points to be both deceitful and…

I could not imagine giving my baby up for adoption, but I know adoptionis a beautiful thing. For some people it is the best thing they can do for their baby. If someone is unable to give their child the life they deserve, give them to a loving family that cannot have kids. Then they will not have to live the rest of theirlife full of guilt about what might have been of this beautiful child’s life. Life is a beautiful thing; everyone deserves that experience to live life. Nobody should have the power to end a person’s life, or say who lives, and who dies. Abortion is murder, in 9 months a breathing, crying baby will be here to open her eyes to a world full of opportunities. The ways they abort the baby are horrendous. In some cases they jab a sharp object into the baby’s brain and suck the brain out using a vacuum. An unborn child moves, breathes, kicks, feels inside of their mother’s stomach. How can someone kill their baby? How can theyexplain that? Murder is wrong, and people that have abortions are getting away with murder. How can it be legal for another human being to take away this innocent baby’s life before they had a chance to breathe? I love life even though I did not have the best life. I am thankful that no one aborted by life because I would not be here…

Abortion is a controversy that has been argued and fought about for decades. People ask whether it’s the body of the mother or the life of the child, who is in charge? The answer to that is simple. The mother is the one in charge of her body, but while being in charge of her body she engaged in intercourse and as a result there came a baby. Now, the baby is a person too, so going forward with abortion is indeed murder. There are at least three alternatives to abortion: parenting, adoption, and interim foster care (Abortion Alternatives). Most people claim that not everyone is ready to be a parent, and they are correct. However, as was said before there are other options than just being parent. There are options that wouldn’t be murder.…

Abortion is a very touchy subject with very little middle ground. Every year around one-million developing fetuses are aborted for various reasons, usually financial problems. While technological advancements in medical science have made abortion a simple step to avoid unwanted pregnancies there are still negative repercussions. Abortion, specifically late stage abortion, should not be accepted by our society because the fetus can feel pain at 20 weeks, abortions are thinning the population of minority groups, and the child is never given a chance.…

Every year, 1.21 million children are aborted. These kids are not given the opportunity to experience a life that they could have had. The parents who want to abort their children could have prevented having a baby if they didn’t want to have them in the first place. The child who is being aborted should not have to pay for their parents’ mistakes by not having a life. There are people in this world who would love to have a child that don’t have one. If a parent doesn't want to keep their child they could put them up for adoption. At least the child could experience life and have the chance of being loved by others by being in an adoption home. Abortion should not be allowed in the United States because it’s not fair to couples who want to have a baby but can’t, people who abort have later life regrets, and it’s like killing someone. Abortion is very wrong and should be expunged.…

One might believe that abortion should not exist in Canadian society. These people are most likely known as pro-life; who believe abortion is equal to murder. Others believe that abortion is a good thing, and has had a strong impact on Canadian society. These people are pro-choice, they believe abortion is a way to help an individual's life for the better. The R.v. Morgentaler case was about two men, including Morgentaler who were licensed physicians, they set up a private clinic providing abortion services to women who did not have the necessary approval and they were criminally charged. The R.v. Morgentaler case made a significant impact on Canadian society; more broadly this case impacted the women of Canada by granting women greater equality rights, giving them a healthier along with a safe lifestyle, and it got rid of illegal acts made by doctors.…

Millions of babies go through this worldwide each year. Abortion is wrong for many reasons. Abortion is an on-going debate throughout the United States. Americans divide 50% as pro-choice and 44% on pro-life. (Saad, 2015) Majority of women side with pro-choice, and being a woman myself, I stand with pro-choice. I believe that it’s an individual’s right to decide what they’re doing to their bodies, and no one else should be allowed to deny them of said right. There are many different reasons as to why someone would get an abortion. Whether it be from results of rape, birth control failure, teen pregnancy, or whatever the case may be, every abortion is thought out and no option is an easy option.…

When a baby is aborted it is still in the process to be a fetus. The baby is tissue in the uterus, which means that the avoid would not feel any pain. Taking away the right for women to have the option of abortion would lead to more deaths because women would seek illegal abortions. In countries outside of the US, the cause of woman's death is 13% from getting illegal abortions. Before abortions were legal in the US, 265 deaths occurred in the year of 1965 because of illegal abortions. Abortions are against religions, but in US God and state are separate so there should be no religion influencing people's stance on abortion. Abortion needs to stay legal to save women's lives mentally, physically, and…

Attempts to obtain an abortion are much more difficult for minors than for their adult counterparts due in part to laws and restrictions that regulate the consent and notification of a minor's parents. Thirty-four states require some form of parental involvement in a minor's decision to have an abortion. The laws are intended to foster parent-child relationships, protect the rights of parents, and deter young women from obtaining abortions or becoming pregnant in the first place, but research casts doubt on whether the laws have their intended effect, and Supreme Court rulings allow minors some privacy rights regarding obtaining an abortion.…

To analyze the issue, we must first understand the reasoning behind why many are against it. To begin, abortion is considered murder to many. The United States government considers unborn babies’ human beings regardless of how long they have been in the womb. Technically, life begins the moment conception occurs. Because of this, the baby inside the womb has a right to life regardless of age. At the moment of fertilization, the fetus begins to develop a unique genetic identity that stays the same throughout its life. This means that humanization starts once the genetic code develops. One of the…
