I noticed that the writer pointed out interesting key points to his outline. For example, he explained that he wanted to interpret Abraham Lincoln's speech to gain a better understanding on what he was trying to say. Abraham Lincoln's gave a powerful speech because he wanted to begin healing the country and work towards using the Declaration of Independence. Abraham Lincoln did not attack the Confederacy or mention about slavery on his speech. He wanted informed the people that they have the power to change the government because they all are the government regardless of their work status. He believed that the United States of American can be a democratic country as long they understand that all people are created equal. Furthermore, speeches
